On August 18th, the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) announced the recipients of its John R. Evans Leaders Fund (JELF). A total of $96 million was awarded to support 377 new research infrastructure projects at 55 institutions from coast to coast.
To further contribute to the Government of Canada’s efforts to provide support for research infrastructure in the province, Research Nova Scotia is pleased to announce $2,358,691 in match funding for 15 research projects at six Nova Scotia universities through its Research Opportunities Fund. In partnership with the CFI, Research Nova Scotia is able to leverage its investment to help institutions remain competitive in areas of research and technology development.
