CIHR Funding Opportunity: SPOR National Training Entity (NTE)

A component of the SPOR Capacity Development Initiative, the National Training Entity (NTE) will:

  • Serve as a central body for systematic patient-oriented research training and mentoring in Canada.
  • Cultivate a community in patient-oriented research capacity development
  • Support mentors and trainees, including Patient-Oriented Research Award recipients and trainees from other SPOR-funded entities
  • Develop collaborations and partnerships

Funding Info:

$5,250,000 available to fund 1 grant over 6 years
Up to $100,000 is available to fund Travel Awards
Opportunity does NOT require 1:1 matching of CIHR funds
