Mental Health Research Canada

Mental Health Research Canada (MHRC) has been collecting extensive data about the state of mental health in Canada during the COVID-19 pandemic. Recognizing the value of this mental health data and the strength of the organization, Research Nova Scotia partnered with MRHC and Pollara Insights to collect additional data in Nova Scotia for our mental health research community to utilize. This initiative is part of MHRC’s national polling project.

As a research organization, we agree that understanding the specific mental health challenges facing Canadians is a critical element of our success in combating this element of the pandemic. We must continue to invest in mental health services and gaining real-time data will help us improve service delivery.
